The 35kV box-type substation (35kV box substation / prefabricated substation) is a compact set of substation equipment that integrates 35kV high-voltage distribution, main transformer voltage reduction, low-voltage distribution, protection and monitoring functions into an outdoor sealed box. It replaces traditional civil construction substations and enables factory prefabrication and rapid on-site commissioning.

Configuration: 35kV vacuum circuit breaker cabinet / Ring main unit, disconnectors, grounding switches, CT/PT, lightning arresters, live display, five-prevention interlock.
Scheme: Incoming line, outgoing line, PT, metering, busbar connection, etc. An SF₆ gas-filled cabinet can be equipped to reduce the volume.
2. Transformer Room (Core Voltage Reduction Unit)
Main Transformer: Oil-immersed self-cooling (S13/S15 low-loss) or dry-type transformer, with options for no-excitation / on-load voltage regulation.
Cooling: Natural air cooling / strong wind cooling, equipped with temperature control, fire protection, oil level / pressure protection.
3. Low Voltage Room (10kV/0.4kV Power Distribution)
Configuration: Low-voltage switch cabinet, frame circuit breaker, feeder circuits, reactive power compensation, metering, UPS, surge protection.
Output: Multiple 10kV outgoing lines or 0.4kV power / lighting distribution.
